Fiona K Bailey CEO
Fiona Bailey has been the CEO of the JGHFoundation since September 2014. Fiona has over 25 years’ experience in senior executive roles spanning a wide variety of sectors including pharmaceutical, health, banking, tourism and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in both Australia and the UK. Fiona has served as an executive for both Nepean Private Hospital and Baulkham Hills Private Hospital and worked in policy and public affairs roles with NSW Health Ministry and the Victorian Department of Health. She provided issues and communication management during the Royal Flying Doctor Service crisis, the merge of two large Australian banks, and the bid process for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, and the rebranding of the National Heart Foundation and Breast Cancer. Fiona was the project manager for the NHMRC funded first economic evaluation of the Personal Health Record (the Blue Book) leading to its national usage.
Fiona has a Master of Public Health (Sydney University), Master of Business Administration (Australian Graduate School of Management), Graduate Certificate in Marketing (Macquarie University), and Certificate in Advanced Project Management (Sydney University). She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, registered real estate agent and Justice of the Peace. She is a former board member of the AGSM Alumni Board, Parents Jury, and SIDs and Kids. Fiona is involved in the Australasian Society for Executives mentor program and the Smith Family mentor program. She is completing a graduate certificate in Sustainability through the Commonwealth Government Endeavor Leadership Program.
Fiona has been involved in establishing a community charity in Cusco in Peru and has actively supported a number of grass roots charities in their operations. Fiona was the CEO for the Gastroenterological Society of Australia from 2014-2023.
